BEDS

Joerns UltraCare XT Beds, Model UCXT, are
guaranteed for a period of five years from the
date of delivery, against defects in materials and
workmanship, under normal use and service.
This five-year warranty includes all mechanical and
electrical components.
Steel structural components on beds are covered
under warranty for a period of 15 years from the date
of delivery.
Welds are covered under warranty for the lifetime1 of
the product.
Damage caused by use in unsuitable environmental
conditions, abuse or failure to maintain the product in
accordance with user and service instructions is not
covered.
Any alteration, modification, or repair unless performed
by or authorized in writing by Joerns Healthcare, will
void this warranty.

Parts
Joerns beds contain various parts that wear from
normal use. These parts, such as DC batteries, are not
covered under the stated warranty but are covered for
90 days after date of delivery.

Joerns Healthcare’s obligation under this warranty is
limited to supplying replacement parts, servicing or
replacing, at its option, any product which is found by
Joerns Healthcare to be defective.
Warranty replacement parts are covered by the terms
of this warranty until the product’s original stated
warranty period expires.
When requested by Joerns Healthcare, parts must
be returned for inspection at the customer’s expense.
Credit will be issued only after inspection.

Service
Most service requests can be handled by the facility
Maintenance Department with assistance from the
Joerns Healthcare Product Service Department.
Most parts requested can be shipped next day air at
the customer’s expense.
Should a technician be required, one will be provided
by Joerns Healthcare, at our discretion. Only the
Joerns Healthcare Product Service Department can
dispatch authorized technicians.
This warranty is extended to the original purchaser of
the equipment.

 

Joerns® Bari10A beds are guaranteed for a period of
one year from the date of delivery, against defects in
materials and workmanship, under normal use
and service.
This one-year warranty includes all mechanical and
electrical components.
Steel structural components on beds are covered
under warranty for a period of 10 years from the
date of delivery.
Welds are covered under warranty1 for the lifetime of
the product.
Damage caused by use in unsuitable environmental
conditions, abuse or failure to maintain the product in
accordance with user and service instructions is not
covered.
Any alteration, modification, or repair unless
performed by or authorized in writing by
Joerns Healthcare, will void this warranty.

MATTRESSES

Joerns Healthcare (Joerns) warrants PrevaMatt®
mattress to be sold free from defects in workmanship
and materials, under normal and proper use, for a
period of five (5) years (Basic - 2 years; Alleviate - 7
years). The cover warranty period is one (1) years.
Damages arising from improper use will not be
covered by this warranty.
A defect is defined as, but not limited to:
• Material breakdown or tear
• Delamination
• Separation of constructed materials
Improper use is defined as, but not limited to, those
caused by:
• Burns
• Chemical
• Needle punctures, cuts or abrasions
• Excessive loads
• Staining
• Negligent or excessive usage
• Improper maintenance, handling and/or cleaning
Joerns will pay shipping and handling costs incurred in
relation to this warranty for the period of one (1) year.
Thereafter, those fees will be the sole responsibility of
the purchaser. Any claims must be submitted to Joerns
in writing within the defined warranty period.
Joerns reserves the right to repair or replace the
mattress or mattress components free of charge
during the warranty period. Substituted components
will be of equal or greater quality. No returns,
allowances, credits, discounts, charge-backs or other
deductions will be made without Joerns’s prior written
authorization.

The warranty is prorated. This warranty is the only
warranty applicable to the PrevaMatt and there are
no other warranties, expressed or implied, and no
one other than Joerns has the authority to modify this
warranty.
Joerns’s liability will not exceed the purchase price
(plus any shipping/handling fees) of the mattress.
Joerns disclaims any liability for consequential
damages arising from a breach of this warranty.
All warranty claims must have an assigned Joerns
Return Authorization (RA) number. Returned products
are subject to inspection. It is the sole discretion of
Joerns personnel to determine if the claim is billable,
or a non-charge warranty replacement.
Note to Purchaser: Please be advised that some
fabric will stretch and all foam (regardless of chemical
composition) and padding will compress during the
product lifecycle. This is normal and is not included in
this or any other warranty applicable to this product.
The PrevaMatt warranty is void if the manufacturer’s
tag is removed from the mattress.

 

LIFTS

This Warranty covers HoyerPro® Lifts only. Lifts not
covered under this warranty include, but are not limited
to: HML400, HPL700, HPL700WSC, HPL402, C-HLA (and variations).


HoyerPro Lifts are guaranteed for a period of two
years from the date of delivery against defects in
materials and workmanship under normal use and
service. This warranty includes all mechanical and
electrical components.
Aluminum structural components and welds on lifts are
covered under warranty for the lifetime* of the product
from the date of delivery.
Damage caused by use in unsuitable environmental
conditions or failure to maintain the product in
accordance with user and service instructions is not
covered. Any alteration, modification, or repair unless
performed by or authorized in writing by Joerns
Healthcare will void this warranty.

Parts
HoyerPro Lifts contain various parts that wear from
normal use. These parts, such as DC batteries,
hydraulic pumps and casters are not covered under
the lifetime warranty but are covered for 90 days after
date of delivery. The pendant is guaranteed for one
year.

Joerns Healthcare’s obligation under this warranty is
limited to supplying replacement parts, servicing, or
replacing, at its option, any product which is found by
Joerns Healthcare to be defective.
Warranty replacement parts are covered by the terms
of this warranty until the product’s original warranty
period expires.
When requested by Joerns Healthcare, parts must
be returned for inspection at the customer’s expense.
Credit will be issued only after inspection.

Your Hoyer Classics Lifts are warranted for one (1)
year after purchase by the original consumer/owner.
Components are defined as follows:
1. Lifter structure; base, mast, boom, and
suspension cradle
2. Hydraulic pump/jack (for manual lifts)
3. Electronic control box and actuator (for power lifts)
All other non-durable components, such as rubber
parts, plastic parts and painted surfaces, batteries
and hand pendants are warranted for 90 days
from original consumer/owner purchase. These
non-durable components are subject to normal
wear and replacement.
Damage caused by use in unsuitable environmental
conditions or failure to maintain the product in
accordance with user and service instructions is not
covered. Any alteration, modification, or repair unless
performed by or authorized in writing by Joerns
Healthcare will void this warranty.
This warranty applies in the USA and Canada only.
Check with your supplier to find out if international
warranties apply.

pendants and casters are not covered under the
one-year warranty but are covered for 90 days after
date of purchase.

Joerns Healthcare to be defective.
Warranty replacement parts are covered by the terms
of this warranty until the product’s original warranty

SLINGS

Hoyer Classic Slings are warranted for six
(6) months after purchase by the original
consumer/owner.
Hoyer Pro Slings are warranted for twelve
(12) months after purchase by the original consumer/owner.
Hoyer Pro disposable slings are warranted for
fourteen (14) days by the original consumer/owner. Disposable slings are not to be washed under
any circumstances. 500 lb safe working load.
DO NOT EXCEED.
Hoyer Pro Slide Sheets are warranted for
twelve (12) months after purchase by the original consumer/owner.
Joerns Healthcare warrants Hoyer slings and slide sheets to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period provided above from the date of purchase by the original consumer/owner.
If within such warranty period such product proves
to be defective Joerns Healthcare will replace
the product.

Damage caused by use unsuitable environmental conditions or failure to maintain the product in accordance with user and service instructions is not covered. Any alteration, modification, or repair will void the warranty. Normal wear and tear, consumer neglect and willful destruction are not cover under the Hoyer sling products.
Joerns Healthcare’s obligation under this warranty is limited to supplying replacement parts found to be defective by Joerns Healthcare.
Warranty replacement parts are covered by the terms of this warranty until the product’s original warranty period expires.
When requested by Joerns Healthcare, parts must be returned for inspection at the customer’s expense. Credit will be issued only after inspection by Joerns Healthcare.
This warranty is extended to the original purchaser of the slings and/or slide sheets.
