When you purchase a Flexabed, you’re investing in more than just a comfortable night’s sleep. You’re investing in long-term support, trusted craftsmanship, and a commitment to your satisfaction. Our products are built to last, and our adjustable bed warranty is built to back that up.

We know warranty language can get complicated, so we’ve laid out everything you need to know aboutΒ in one simple guide. Here’s what’s covered, what’s not, and how to take full advantage of your warranty coverage.

Our Limited Lifetime Coverage Explained

Because Flexabed builds every bed by hand, we stand behind our product with a great warranty.
This warranty covers the entire bedβ€”each and every component and design feature (even the mattress!), without exception.

BEST OF ALL

Our warranty is even transferable. It’s not limited to the person who purchases the bed. So if you sell or give the bed to someone else, it remains under warranty.

This warranty does not apply to any product subjected to customer misuse, electrical surges, damage in transit, or handling by the delivering agent unless the customer signs the bill of lading with damages noted, or which, in the opinion of Flexabed, has been altered or repaired by an unauthorized representative in any way that affects the reliability or detracts from the performance of the product. Replacement parts are warranted for the unexpired balance of the original warranty period. This warranty does not include responsibility for transportation or handling expenses except those specified. The foregoing is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed, implied, or statutory. Flexabed neither assumes nor authorizes any person to assume for it any other obligation or liability in connection with the sale of this product. In the unlikely event that critical repair components become impossible to acquire after the 5th year and a repair cannot be made, Flexabed will offer an β€œin-lieu-of” discount of 33% off the MSRP that is in effect at that time toward the purchase of a new mattress or articulating base unit.

In order to prove a defect in materials or workmanship, the customer will be expected to provide pictures and/or video as prescribed by Flexabed service personnel in order to prove the defect is not normal wear and tear on the product.

MOTORS AND LIFTING MECHANISM

  • During the first 12 months after purchase, Flexabed will provide in-home parts and labor at no charge. All parts will be shipped via UPS ground. Any expedited charges must be paid by the customer.
  • After the first year, any part may be purchased from the factory or sent to the factory freight prepaid by the customer for repair, reconditioning or replacement at the factory’s option for a $100.00 fee plus any shipping charges incurred to ship the part back to the customer.

MATTRESS AND UPHOLSTERED BASE

  • During the first 12 months after purchase, Flexabed will provide in home repairs or replacement at the factory’s option at no charge provided the defect is demonstrated to be a defect in materials or workmanship and is more than normal wear and tear.
  • After the first year of purchase, the mattress and or the upholstered base may be sent to the factory freight prepaid by the customer for repair, reconditioning or replacement at the factory’s option for a $100.00 fee and will be returned freight collect at the customer’s expense.

What’s Covered Under Flexabed’s Adjustable Bed Warranty?

All Flexabed modelsβ€”including the Premier, Hi-low SL, and Value Flexβ€”are covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty. That means we’ll stand behind your adjustable bed for as long as you own it, with a few key time-based distinctions.

This coverage applies to:

  • Adjustable base and lift motors
  • Handsets, cords, and internal wiring
  • All mattress types (memory foam, innerspring, latex, and more)
  • Frame and platform support system

Our warranty is also transferable. If the bed is gifted or resold, the remaining warranty coverage moves with it. This adds value for both current and future owners.

Our Year-by-Year Coverage Breakdown

Year 1 – Comprehensive Coverage:

In the first year, if anything goes wrong due to a manufacturing defect, we’ll cover all parts, labor, and shipping. Whether it’s a motor malfunction or a mattress issue, our team will repair or replace the component at no cost to you.

Year 2 and Beyond – Flat-Fee Repair Services:

Starting in year two, Flexabed offers continued warranty support for a flat service fee of $100, plus shipping. This applies to repairs or reconditioning of the adjustable base, mattress, motors, and other components. If a specific part is no longer available, we’ll provide a 33% credit toward the purchase of a new Flexabed mattress or base.

What’s Not Covered?

While we stand behind the durability of our products, there are a few situations that fall outside the scope of our adjustable bed warranty. These include:

  • Misuse or abuse (including damage from spills, pets, or rough handling)
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Power surges, electrical damage, or improper installation
  • Normal wear and tear that does not affect performance

To ensure coverage stays intact, we recommend using a surge protector, following the product manual, and contacting our team before performing any repairs.

How do I File a Flexabed Warranty Claim?

Where to Buy a Flexabed with Full Warranty Protection

To ensure your new bed is eligible for full warranty coverage, purchase through one of our authorized dealers. You can buy online from flexabed dealers,Β or find a showroom near you.

All Flexabeds are custom-built and shipped directly to you, typically within three business days. We also offer white glove delivery and setup options to make your experience as smooth as possible.

Refund

  • The following conditions apply:
    • This item has a 20% Restocking Fee.
    • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. The product must new and unused andΒ in the original packaging.
    • All accessories and items that were included in theΒ boxΒ must be returned.Β 
    • Items canceled after the product has already shipped will be considered a return.
    • Delivery and service fees are not refundable.
    • Mattresses ordered with beds are non-returnable.
    • Custom-made by the manufacturer to suit your specific needsΒ are non-returnable.
    • An RA (Return Authorization) from SpinLifeΒ must be requested within 30 days of delivery.
    • The item must be shipped back to the address noted on the RA within 15 days.
    • Once approved, your refund, minus any restocking and freight fees, will be issued to your original form of payment.
    • If delivered by a technician and delivery slip is signed and accepted the item is unable to be returned.
