This is the same 6Ah lithium battery that comes with every Air wheelchairr. The high-quality cells are housed in a sleek black anodized aluminum casing with plastic end closures. The terminals are safely hidden behind slots in the end closure to reduce the risk of a short. This battery offers an impressive range of up to 8 miles.
Ideal for air travel! Upon reaching the end of the jetway, simply remove the Air Elite battery, fold the wheelchair, and hand it to a flight attendant for storage under the plane. Bring the battery with you onto the plane and store it at your seat, while informing the flight attendants of its location. Be sure to check with your airline for specific procedures regarding the transport of a battery-powered vehicle and its battery.
